Things we did while in the area...

While camping (see our tips about the Staunton KOA) we visited Monticello, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway, and trekked through Luray Caverns.

We had a great time, for the most part, and will be posting some photos shortly.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Lots of places to camp, sights to see, and shopping for supplies - right off Rt 81 and close to I64
  • Cons:The KOA in Staunton/Verona was less than stellar - see our tips for comments
