| | My education and occupation.... When I was undergraduate student, I majored in French and had minor in Italian. I also learned German by myself. Afterwards I entered graduate school of European studies (politics science) and the title of my graduation thesis was "The Readjustment and Development of the Post Cold-war Franco-German Relationship from aspects of European integration and defense". I started my career life in Feb. 2005. Currently I work as export sales in a machinery manufacture and export company in Taipei, Taiwan. |
My hobbies... I speak Taiwanese, Mandarin, English, French, Italian and a little German. I wish to speak Arabic one day.
I love reading books about archaeology, history, politics, economics, culture and so on. I take much interest in litterature and I like European and American classic novels the best.
I listen to almost all kinds of music and my favorite are classic, Jazz, R & B and techno etc. I like old songs. I collect CDs of songs composed in the 30's and 40's in several languages.
I always enjoy tasting exotic cuisine like Indian, Italian, Mexican, Arabic, Japanese, German, Korean and Thai food etc. I cook what I like to have. I'm not picky with food in general. I accept Taiwanese stinky tofu, Thai durian, Japanese natto, French blue cheese, German blood sausage and so on. But I have difficulty to have European liquorice candy...
I like classic and art movies. My favorite films are Casablanca, Nosferatu, Hiroshima Mon Amour, The Year of The Quiet Sun, Wings of Desire, Dancer in the Dark, Das Boot and more...
| | My best memory of travel... I never forget the wonderful time when I spent 1 month in Stuttgart, Germany in the year 2001... In one chilly evening in February it snowed. Suddenly a big amount of snow flakes fell down. They were white and light angels from the sky kissing the city everywhere... I had never seen snowflakes in my life and got so excited with this fantastic scenery. We just opened the door and ran out directly.... We wrote out each other's name on the white land by foot...walked in snow hand-in-hand...played snow balls...played on the swings in the park... It was so quite in snow and our brillant smiles and laughters broke the silence... |
Wish list for further trips... I hope to visit Austria, Japan, Italy and Germany again soon.
I have seen so little... My Dream Destinations in the world: 1) Halong Bay, Viet Nam 2) Cebu, Philippines 3) Seoul, South Korea 4) Beijing, China 5) Prague, Czech 6) Stockholm, Sweden 7) Fiords in Norway 8) Moscow, Russia 9) Barcelona, Spain 10) Athens, Greece 11) London, The United Kingdom 12) Maya historic site, Mexico 13) Buenos Aires, Argentina 14) Casablanca, Morroco 15) Rocky mountains of Canada 16) New York, The United States 17) Palau 18) Tahiti 19) Turkey
