"New York" a New York City Travel Page by lovetravel01

For as close as I live to New York City I have only been here twice. The first time when i was a child in the Brownies we went to a museum I don't even remember. I still do remember seeing the Empire State Building, the Twin Towers, and the Statue of Liberty from the window of the school bus. The second time I went with my history class after the February after 911 to see ground zero. I would like to go back and see all the sights I read about, but it is very expensive and it scares me. When you live close to a city you hear all the bad things about it. I'm not afraid of terrorism, but of being mugged, beaten, raped, ect. I will eventually go back, but for now here is my measly page.

Since writing the above I have actually made it back again! It was to see the bronx zoo, and I lived.
