In Taize

When I was little girl my dream was to see the world, handshake gorillaz and dancing with tribes. My image about world changed a bit, but the wanderlust is same.
Till my age 19 my traveling was limited on Slovenia's neighbour countries (Croatia, Italy, Austria) and France. It was mostly organisated by school, parents or it was about international camps.

2006

Then it started.. After high school I started to travel more on my own.

I joined the volanteer group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which must say was really nice experience. We had a camp for children with aim to join different religions (in Odžak there were muslim and catholics). And it was quite succesful!

After Bosnia I went to Wales to work and did some trips to England too but not really much, must come back again!

2007

Drinking nargile @ Istanbul

Great year!
Firstly I went to Prague, it was a birthday gift of my relatives. Even thought tours are not my way of seing the world I was more than happy about it. After all I am glad for every trip I can take!

Then I made a short Balkan trip with my friend Anže, using interrail. We went trought Serbia where we stopped only for few hours in Belgrade, later Niš and somewhere in the countryside when the train broke down. Also we stoped in Bulgaria for a day to see the capital city Sofia. Again a location that I need to revisit! We continued a trip to Istanbul where we had an amazing 11 days! I love this city! Then from Istanbul to the turkish close but not really close neighbour - Greece. Thessaloniki is a really nice town and again a town on my revisit list. Geia sou!

In September my friend Vesna and I hitchiked to Taize in France. We went trough Austria, Germany, Italy (yes I know up side down!). We made only few steps on Switzerland's land. It was great experience and we met lot of nice people!

2008

The goats of Sachara people we were staying with

Right after my last exam I was on a way to Switzerland . Again a gift from my relatives. We were checking up Zurich, which i really liked - its smallty reminded me to Ljubljana - then the Rhine waterfalls (largest one in Europe!), continue to Konstanz - Germany , tiny Vaduz - Liechtenstein , Feldkirchen - Austria and Sankt Moritz - Switzerland again.

After 2 days from Switzerland I was packed up for the next trip which I did with my friend Kristina. Firstly we were staying in Milan for 2 nights which was good, met some new people, made new friendship and remember why I like our west neighbours!
From Malpensa we flew to Marrakech. Morocco I love you! Really nice country. And so much things to see there, I must go back. We went on a trip to Sachara for 3 days and one day to check out the Ourika waterfalls. But most of the time we were spending in Marrakech. Well my desire for hot weather was satisfied, wish I could bring it with me to Slovenia.

Well when I came back from Morocco my wish was to see Budapest , but as there was some traffic complications, time limit and my mother waiting me.. I was there only for one night.

in September am planning trips to Portugal, Spain, and hopefully to Bosnia and Serbia.
