I've heard you often get to hear this hillarious sentence if you live in Heidelberg. The "shlob" is actually called "Schloss" (with a sharp s, the letter that looks like a b is actually a sharp s, don't say "shlob"!), the famous castle of Heidelberg.
Heidelberg is very popular with tourists and immigrants cause it's very old and romantic and it sure is a pretty place. Actually it's one of the most famous tourist spots in Germany, but maybe that's also due to the large American presense in this area (World War 2...).
Heidelberg is also a student city and has all these great little cafés and restaurants...
To get such a beautiful view of Heidelberg at sunset you have to go to the castle. It's either a few hundred stairs or with a cablecar. You can survive the stairs, it's a nice walk!
The castle is usually full of tourists, but the entry prices are not dramatic.
