As mentioned in my Croatia-page I had the great pleasure of living in Zagreb for almost 10 months and had a lot of time to check out all kinds of different places in and around the city, and not only out of touristic interest. So here are some of my personal recommendations about the nicest and most fun places to hang around when you're in Zagreb - I hope you can use them and if you have any particular questions, feel free to ask.
Zagreb is a cool city and to me it will always be like coming home when I go for a visit there - enjoy your (virtual) trip!

Hi Natascha, it was great to meet you at the VT meeting in Frankfurt last Saturday. I hope we can meet again sometime. (You could even come to my course with Kay, hint-hint!) That's a fine painting of the Croatian National Theatre where your friend sings.

Girl, you're fantastic! I can not agree more with everything you said, esp Pingvin, Nokturno, Stara Sava, Kolding... these are all bars and restaurants I frequent. Btw, I used to work just across Kolding :)))
