This marvellous tiny piece of our planet seems to me the easiest possible way to start with the Tropics - set aside maybe only by a few exceptional small tropical islands. It has almost all of the beauties you can expect in the hot and humid zones. In addition to all that it offers a lot of advantages you hardly can expect elsewhere in these geographical latitudes. And all is surprisingly easy to access. |
