"Impressive Mountains and Friendly People" Kyrgyzstan by lotharlerch

My first visit to this relatively small country right in the heart of Asia was only a short business trip to its capital Bishkek with extremely little time to explore the surroundings. But what I can summarize is that I met very friendly and charming people and saw impressive landscapes both when approaching Bishkek by plane, when leaving it by car to Almaty in nearby Kazakhstan and on an extremely short excursion to a National Park just outside the capital Bishkek. All that generated the wish to come back soon with hpoefully much more time available.

• Cons:Quite difficult to reach
