    • If you feel the wish to do water sports under your time in Fúcking you find several tiny surprisingly warm lakes in a comfortable walking distance from Fúcking. We enjoyed the Holzoestersee but there are several others of similar size nearby.

    • Braunau is the district capital (Bezirkshauptstadt) of the district in which Fúcking is situated. And it is (in)famous for being the birthplace of Adolf Hitler. But that is already all what connects Hitler with Fúcking. It seems that Hitler never enjoyed it.

    Braunau is immediately at the river Inn which here forms the border between Austria and Germany. Hitler was born only a few 100 meters from the bridge where was the frontier checkpoint.
