Still not too touristy

by lotharlerch - last update: Oct 12, 2006

Tirol's most picturesque town

Town Hall
Hall in Tirol is a bit in the shadow of Innsbruck which is only 10 km away. Most of the tourists filling the only 200 x 180 m big old city of Innsbruck, only one bigger street and a small square, are not aware that all that what they might be looking for is much bigger and nicer in the neighbouring Hall, far more autenthic and without all what tries to make of Innsbruck a sorts Salzburg without Mozart (but with Mozart balls, of course).

I really enjoy your photos and stories. The ornate architecture and city design is so reminiscent of a time long gone, it seems, when time wasn't so connected with money; and art was something which could take years, or lifetimes, to properly birth.
