BURY I was really attracted to a visit to this lovely little northern English Town after reading "Hells Foundations" being a military Historian I just had to visit the town along with a visit to the Lancashire Fusiliers Museum..What a pretty place this is..lovely tidy town located just not far from the city of Manchester this was just a short and pleasant train ride ..
Well, shortly after arriving I had found..and was inside visiting this wonderfully Historic little military Museum..such a warm welcome from such helpful and kind staff that voluntarily work here..

WHAT A COLOURFUL CASCADE OF BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS

Although a small museum the volumes of History here are amazing really well layed out with lots of military weapons,and the different uniforms with various battle information and diaroamas ..I find everytime I visit such a museum I always admire the people that invest their own time in making these places possible..Usually they are retired soldiers from the Regiment keeping the History alive for future generations to see and admire sacrifices that have been made and sometimes overlooked to secure their freedom ..

A FUSILIER IN SUMMER UNIFORM

A walk around this tidy town will enable you to see the history that expells itself from so many old buildings and memorials that are here..The beautiful gardens that are everywhere here and one has to admire the time that is invested in keeping these gardens so beautiful with such an abundance of colourful flowers..
