EL DORADO... This is somewaht of an isolated town with a small poulation and when i was there it was extremely dry...with all golden grass and lots of dust being stirred up by wind.
The major attraction in El Dorado is the huge gold dredge that is anchored in a lake. I was quite amazed when I first saw this huge dredge and the first thing that came to mind was...How did they get that thing here ...its huge.!..They say it was just so noisey...one time it stopped working and woke everyone up..The noise that was produced by this mechanical monster must have been really unbearable to constantly listen to...it surely must have taken a long time to assemble ..unfortuneatley I lost all the info I had on this.
