NORTH SYDNEY N.S.W.

The Northern end of the Sydney harbour bridge is the area of Sydney known as North Sydney...although a very expensive part of Sydney to live as one can imagine with views like most people have here it isn't any wonder. Located on the harbour this is a beautiful part of the city with great grassed areas for the locals to eat lunch...walk dogs etc..This part of Sydney is very easy to get to by either ferry bus or train..There is an Olympic Pool situated here that caters for early morning swimmers..also many restaurants cafes and pubs are here to cater for hungry and thirsty visitors..

NEW YEARS EVE FIREWORKS FROM THE NORTHSIDE

New Years Eve in Sydney is an extremely popular place to be and it appears to be growing in popularity every year...I always go to the northern end of the Harbour bridge (on the eastern side) to get my spot to watch the midnight New Years Eve fireworks display.
I also have used this spot to take some really nice panoramic views of the city across the harbour especially the Opera house at night...also the views up on the pedestrian walkway on the eastern side of the bridge are also grand ..
