ST.HELENS..A REALLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE..

TASMANIA..ST.HELENS..Right on Georges Bay St.Helens is the largest easternmost town in Tasmania and was settled in around 1830 by whalers and sealers....and what a beautiful place it is..Im sure this place is a secret..great beaches for all water sports and crystal clear waters. The drive along this coast is wonderful..a walk on the most pristine beaches you could find..A drive out along Binalong Bayis a must ..beaches with barely a footprint to be found...I couldn't help but notice that everybody has crayfish pots in the water near their houses ..so I guess thats the main menu..Fishing is big here and there are three processing plants in the town also there are many fishing and charter boats operating out of St Helens..I was taken by the whiteness of the sand ..just so clean...they say also that here on this northeastern part of Tassie gets amongst the cleanest air in the world....in June there is a huge jazz festival held here....I could live here..

TASMANIA...ST.HELENS..BAY OF FIRES.

BINALONG BAY...ST.HELENS.. I don't think I have seen whiter.. cleaner sand anywhere in the world..just the nicest pristine beaches with the cleanest water..A drive along this north east coast is a must ...

ST.HELENS..A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT..

Don't know if you saw it Dennis, but the "Times on Line" recently had a report that Lonely Planet is about to come out with a rating of World #1 for the Bay of Fires!
