PHNOM PENH I arrived in Phnom Penh after a fast and inexpensive bus ride from Ho Chi Min City..The day was incredibly humid and was so pleased at being here as it was a destination that I couldn't fullfill last year while in Asia ..with it's reputation of violence and government genocide this country has picked itself up amazingly after it's recent tragic history...
Cambodia for the visitor has a lot to offer mainly being its friendly and gentle people ,also, its accomodation ,food , beer , and transport are all very inexpensive..There are many things to see and do and also is a great place to just relax...sit by the river and enjoy the everyday with a glass of cold local beer..Phnom Penh for me was a stay of a week as my main objective was to travel on to Siem Reap to visit the famous and huge Temple Complex of Angkor..one of the ten worlds greatest temples..

Hi Denny, great written tips from your trip to PP. When I read those KR stories it reminds me how complex and contrasty is the reality in Cambodia, but it still makes me go back; it is an amazing place.
