County Clare

Cliffs of Moher
One of the stops on my recent trip to Ireland was in County Clare, in a little fishing village called Doolin. Of course we saw a bit more of the surrounding area while we were there including the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna and the Burren

Hi Heather, did you know that there is a wonderful traditional Irish tune called the Cliffs of Moher - we play it in the band quite a lot. It's a favourite of our whistle player. Just thought you might like to know ;-)) fergy

Great page, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren look very beautiful! County Clare seems like a great place, I hope to visit someday!

Your pages have made me sick to go back to Ireland. Have become distracted by SE Asia! Too many places to go! Thanks for sharing!

You are lucky to have decent weather at the Cliffs. I had horrible wind and rain. We had planned to hike in the Buren afterwards but were warned not to do this as it gets real slippery. Kathy
