To those driving around the UK please be sensible about leaving valuables in view when leaving your car parked. I seem to keep reading in my local paper of (North American mostly) tourists having their cars broken into and luggage & belongings (camcorder etc) stolen. If you take the same precautions that you would at home then you should be fine.

I'm sure its just me being petty and this is more a word of advice than a warning, but if you are talking to anyone Scottish don't refer to Robert Burns as anything other than Robert or Rabbie. Thats with an A. Not an O. He doesn't get referred to as Robbie here. And certainly never ever referred to as "Bobby".
