London is definitely my favourite city and I have been there several times in the last few years. I managed to pack loads into my last visit including the National Gallery, Tate Modern, Kensington Gardens, Notting Hill, Camden, Science & Victoria & Albert Museums and The London Eye. Even though I'd been on a few short trips in recent years I still found plenty to do that kept it new and interesting as well as visiting some old favourites. My favourite parts of the city though have to be the area around Covent Garden & Camden market. |
| | London is the capital of England and a huge huge city which has something for everyone. You can visit many historic sites as well as art galleries, monuments, parks, museums [fun or more serious] and take a cruise on the Thames.
If you want some entertainment the city is well known for its theatre productions - all the big musicals/ shows, plays etc, - has numerous cinemas with many fim premieres being held in London and of course music concerts covering everything from pop to classical.
London also has the best shopping in Britain. So its a must-visit for a shopaholic like me! Everything from the luxury goods of Harrods and designer shops of Bond Street to the markets of Camden and Portbello and everything in between. A shopaholics paradise!! |
