I know it is probably a bit prosaic but traveling is in my blood. My father was in the military and we went everywhere he did, except Korea. My first trip, at the age of about 8 months was to Heidelberg, Germany. The first few years of my childhood I spoke both English and German. My first job out of college was in Miami, Florida and after a short time I was in the Army too. Most of the jobs I have had also allowed me to travel all over the United States. I have always enjoyed history and that helps make traveling even more meaningful, as well as, fun. I take lots of pictures. Some turn out to be fairly good. Here's one at a ski resort in the Shenandoah Mountains in July.
