Things I love about Bali.. I can visit Bali for about the same price as I can travel to any capital city in Australia. It's way cheaper to shop and the people are much, much friendlier than at home. Not that I don't love my home, it's just that generally the people aren't that friendly anymore and I believe it has a lot to do with the changing values and the world of plenty that we live in. Many of the people in Bali are quite poor, but they don't allow it to dampen their spirits and are very much in touch with who they are spiritually and what the more important things in life are. I don't mean to wax lyrical. But in short, Bali is a place where you can relax, let your hair and have a great time shopping, exploring, eating out, enjoy nature and generally anything you can imagine.*
Check out my General Tips on Bali. I have included heaps of Indonesian Translations. Figured it was as good a spot as any!* |
