My wife, Josette, and I have been married for a couple of years. We have 4 kids between the two of us. They are 8, 6, 5 and 4. As you know, they can get expensive.
The weekends were are only time together, due to many hours at work. After months of taking kids to movies and out to eat, we realized we were spending a fortune in entertainment. Then I remembered how my parents entertained us as children. They would take us on road trips. We didn't usually go far, but, we got to see all sorts of interesting new things.
We decided that we could actually save money by taking road trips for the weekend and letting the kids see and experience things they had never seen before. That is how we got into traveling.

Going to Great American Ballpark

Every city we go to the boys want to see whatever stadium is in town. We have been to many different stadiums. My goal is to get their picture in front of every stadium within 500 miles of our house. I know there are a lot of them, but it's fun to try.

Cincy At Night

When I first got into photography, my main interest was city skylines. I always loved to look at the buildings in Chicago and New York, especially the night ones. Unfortunately, taking them was a lot harder than I thought. After a few years of practice, I have gotten better, but I still have a lot left to learn.

Geese on the pond

Wildlife is my new focus. Even though there is not much wildlife around here, I'm trying to get as many pictures as possible. The kids love to see animals, also.

Small Waterfall at John Bryan State Park

We enjoy hiking quite a bit. It was harder to do at first, when the kids were smaller. They couldn't walk as far or as fast. They'd get tired and grouchy. So we held of on long walks for a while. Now that they are older, I'm really excited about taking them out into the woods to see nature.
