Here's where I live-Bombay(now Mumbai),so I'm gonna let you in on absolutely everything a person would want to know about Bombay!!

Bombay's a city(actually 7 islands!) full of opportunity,hope and diversity!Almost anything can be found everywhere!People are helpful and very tolerant-even if you're in the oddest of clothes,there's no problem!

You can find almost all kinds of cuisine here-Thai,Punjabi,Italian,South Indian,French,Chinese,Lebanese etc and available for people with little $ or lotsa $$$!Bombay's also the fashion capital of India,so you're bound to find amazing clothes!

The essence of Bombay lies in the rains!Come June,and the otherwise not-so-pure environment is enriched with this earthy freshness!
But,at times,the city gets flooded(yup!) and it's at times like these that you can fall sick! So I actually wouldn't recommend a trip here between June-Sept,but if you're keen to know what the situation is like-let me know!I'll gladly post a pic of people wading through thigh high water!;-)

So here goes..let's explore Mumbai-the city of dreams!!:) And don't forget to read about the rainy weekend getaways-Lonavala and Khandala in my travelogue!:)

ok,I'll admit!!!The pic on the left isn't one of Amchi Mumbai-it's actually Mysore!I just think that it represents(on one hand),the essence of India of which Bombay is definitely an essential part!:)forgive me...please!:)
