Often overlooked or just passed through quickly, Zambia has missed out on the number of tourists seen in some of its neighbouring countries. This has been a misfortune as it contains some real gems. Great wildlife, natural attractions such as Mosi-oa-tunya (Victoria Falls) and the friendliness of the Zambia people create a rewarding experience. Unless on a high budget persistence and patience are required to get to what Zambia has to offer, but that is part of what makes it so special.
