"Mermaid? What mermaid?" Copenhagen by jorgec25

Copenhagen turned out to be a very pleasant surprise for me. As a lot of people I'm sure, I associated the city to Hans Christian Anderson and the little mermaid (being the cover page photo of my city guide also helped!), as being the main attractions.

But was I wrong!

The city has so much to offer: not only in places to visit, green areas, the rich museum collections, but also, and especially, the atmosphere, the constant presence of the sea, and the people!

Go there, and visit back often is what I feel the need to say :)

To be precise, the Danes and the Norwegian :)

We were lucky to visit Copenhagen in a time where Ove, Klaus, Claus, Allan and Jon were in town.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for hanging out with us, and share a (let's say) few drinks!

Brondby stadium

Sorry to my friends who are FC Copenhagen fans, but as a football fan, I must make a reference to my visit to Brondby stadium to see a football match.

Brondby has a new Portuguese fan!

Of course I don't mind going to meet the other stadiums in the city, on my next visit.

• Pros:everything, even the weather was perfect
• Cons:Thinking that the mermaid is a must see
• In a nutshell:I must go back very soon!
