Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home
This is my home if you would like to view it on Google Earth. The coordinates are
27.45'44"82 N and 107.37'53" 87 W. The dark area to the rear is the entry to the longest train tunnel on the route. I have a KLR 250 motorcycle there as shown in the picture and a Suburban to tour around. The house is small with only two bedrooms and one bathroom. I have just acquired a building permit to enlarge it. I hope to beguin construction this year. The weather is very mild with the high only going to about 80 degrees in the summer. The winters can get cold with occasional snow. During the fall and winter the nights are cold enough to freeze water. The days warm up to where a t shirt is comfortable mid day. The rains are in the summer starting on St John's day June 24 and lasting about three months. The rains usually come in the afternoon and clears up by the next morning.
Out for a Stroll

How I dress when I am out exploring.

This how I dress when I take my walks to explore my surroundings. I am walking in a cut that was made for the rail road. It was abandoned and made into a road after the tunnel was constructed to provide direct access into Creel. This tunnel is located to the rear of my home. It looks like a rectangular dark box. The train is down about 80 feet so I get a little shaking but no real noise. I am a train buff so I go out and watch the train as it either go to or leaves Creel. I am wearing a flannel shirt as the nights are often cool.
Out my front door

Looking out my front door.

This is from my front door. My Suburban is in the for ground the towns garbage truck is on the road. Creel has water, sewer and garbage service.
