"Our Bolinao Adventure" Bolinao by albertdp

We intentionally came without having made reservations for accomodations. We travelled the entire length of the road to Patar visually checking out the various resorts along the way and making inquiries at the ones we found interesting. Our criteria always consists of price, cleanliness, ambience, friendliness of staff/hosts, accesibility... value, in other words.
We chose to stay at Dutch Beach Resort. No regrets.

There's something about old houses...

We went to see the lighthouse (mostly because it had started to rain) and we were not disappointed. Solar-powered (check out the storage batteries at the foot of the lighthouse), low maintenance and requiring very little if any human interaction operations-wise, it is a high tech attraction. But its location is breathtaking and there's this beautiful house on its premises too! Good for pictures.

Irresistable!

Faced with a choice between Cindy's, Wonderful and Enchanted, we chose the latter. Charges are Php20 per 4-wheeled vehicle, Php20@ person to view or Php40 @ to view and bathe in the natural pool inside the cave. Since it was raining when we got there, we chose to just view. But we vow to bathe when we return!
