Market City Shopping Centre - Australia

Market City Shopping Centre

Reading Cinemas, Chinatown, Sydney

Market City Reading Cinemas is located at Market City Shopping Centre at Haymarket in the heart of Sydney's famous Chinatown. Reading Cinemas' five screen cinema complex is located at level 3 of the shopping centre. We understand that the cinema complex was closed since 2009 as the cinemas are no longer viable. It is really a shame! Sydney's Chinatown certainly needs more good entertainment in the evening and at night! They were opened to the public in 1995 and used to screen many Asian first run films. Even though the cinema complex has been closed, the cinema's signboard is still there. Nevertheless visitors and shoppers can visit the Market City Shopping Centre for its many shopping and food outlets, considerable number of them deal in products from Asia.

Address: 9-13, Hay Street, Haymarket

Directions: Located at level 3, Market City Shopping Centre in the heart of Sydney's Chinatown.
