Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is located at Place du Carrousel within a stone's throw from the famous Louvre Museum in the heart of the city of Paris. It is smaller than the Arc de Triomphe located at Champs-Elysées Avenue. This arch of triumph was erected by Emperor Napoleon I in 1808 to commemorate his victory in the war earlier. It was designed by Charles Percier and Pierre Leonard Fontaine. In fact it was a reproduction of the Arch of Septimius Severus in Rome. Nevertheless it is a lesser known tourist attraction in the city of Paris. We have not heard of this arch until we visited the Louvre Museum!
The arch is approximately 20 meters high, 23 meters wide and 7 meters deep. The central arch is 6 meters high with two smaller arches of 4 meters high on both sides. Eight Corinthian columns surround the arch which was constructed of rose marble. It certainly looks impressive from a distance with the pyramid structure of Louvre Museum in the background as depicted in our photograph above!

Mark Twain Riverboat Cruise is located in the south of Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland in Paris Disneyland. It was opened to the public in 1992. Visitors are taken for a riverboat ride in old fashioned paddle steamer of type known as sternwheeler circling the Big Thunder Mountain and the Wilderness Island along the Rivers of the Far West.
Along the way visitors will be able to see wildlifes, creature remains, cascading waterfalls, erupting greysers, caves etc. Most visitors have to stand on the riverboat to have a better view of the attractions. There are very few seats available in the riverboat. The roundtrip lasts approximately 15 minutes. This is certainly one of the best Disneyland's attractions that we have ever encountered!
