"A good surprise" a Marseille Travel Page by floche2001

We actually decidd to discover Marseille just because of cheap flights by Ryanair from Lille. We moved southwards with no special expectations as Marseill as an image of dirty town.
We were really positivilely suprised by the number of things to do or discover. Just try to walk left right where you nose guides you and you'll make nice discoveries. Especially the old town, not just the famous old harbour where evrything started more than 2600 years ago but for sur the "Panier" district is really typical. Our 2 1/2 days were correct to have a good feeling of this town
