Hey, Ho, Let's go!!

by sidrapunk - last update: Mar 16, 2009

Some of my favourite pictures

View from the bus from Huarez to Lima, Peru
'Hershey' tramway, Havana, Cuba

Holidays in the sun!!

I'm gonna keep my pages short an' sweet, cos that's the way I likes it. I'm not gonna waste your time (or mine) on looking (and building) through mountains of rubbish that no-one's gonna wanna see. So there, take it or leave it...oh..gone already...so soon! Cheerio!

Actually, to be true, I'm always thinking of the next trip and just don't seem to get round to writing my tips up. I'm already looking for something after those above!!
Las Fallas, Valencia, Spain

London calling!!

Paragraph 2...I'm only counting my trips after 1995, because I didn't have a camera til then! & I'll have to dig out my Russia photos and scan them in (when I've got time)

And, I'm having trouble with my Fallas videos, they convert from .MOV to .WMV ok, but the sound is really distorted. If anyone can give clues as to how to fix it I would be very grateful, thanks.
View towards Hallingskarvet, Geilo, Norway

Holiday in Cambodia....and some future ideas....

Have you seen the Altai mountains on the Russian/Mongolian border....they look absolutely fantastic....go check it out on the web!!!

East European trips to...Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Russia of course.

India....the Taj Mahal etc, but more for the railways up into the Himalayas.

Did you look at the Altai Mountains...no? why not? Huh! stop what you're doing and check them out!...NOW!!!

Bob Marley- favourite song 'small axe'
David Bowie-...."and Ziggy played guitarrrrrrr!"
Classical music-v fond of Russian & English composers, don't know why, just am.

Who is this guy?

Pros: Likes cider, holidays and punkrock

I wish!! It's on the list but not for a while. I have to finish the Ireland pages before I do anything else.

OMG! I used to take that train from Cojimar to Casablanca. Look in my link for the rail from Cojimar ... circa 1950. http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/p/m/3bb242/
