Sofitel at Hua Hin 2.5 hrs drive from Bangkok

Here and getting paid for it

What made my visits to exotic places like Borneo i.e Sabah, Thailand , Goa and India was the fact I was getting paid for it. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!
My Masai Mates

Jungle Jim

Kenya has not got much jungle as we found when we went on our safari. Stayed at the Voyager Resort and it was lovely, great for the kids and the staff were great. All meals were al fresco. We went at Xmas time. Sadly the troubles started the following year which detered us from a revisit
12 foot away

Safari

Armed with our camera we all jumped on board the coach and went looking for wildlife. Vast open spaces and elephants, giraffe, zebra but where were the cats?

We found two who got closer and closer and then posed for pics
View from the outside restaurant

Kalkan Turkey

Second visit to Turkey first was to Fetiyhe. This time it was Kalkan as recommended by our daughter. Beautiful Boutique hotel with "no kids weeks" which is nice if you want that sort of thing. Kalkan town id very steep so not ideal for maybe older people who have a problem walking. Lovely restaurants usually on the roof with nice views

Hotel was The Kalkan Regency
