Nightlife Spot: Piazza de Repubblica
Two girls in Rome on New Year's Eve who did not know what to do and where to go - so they ended up at this crowded place. The live music and the light show were great though. Ok, different countries, different traditions. It was 5 minutes before midnight on my watch, and as there was no countdown - we were rather surprised when suddenly the champagne corks popped. Beside that it was just too crowded and we missed the chimes, the most terrible thing was that people shooted with champagne and we were wet all over. This was like Formula 1 and not a party I am used to....Prost Neujahr!
