Although many landmarks were changed by the October 17, 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake (boy, was that a doozie of a ride!), this area and the mountains around it are still one of my favorite places on earth. Go and have some fun in laid-back Santa Cruz! (I'll look for some photos to share with you, but I don't think I have many - most of my time there was spent when I was younger & just having fun!) |
