The Ozark Mountains, in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri, is a beautiful, unspoiled area with warm, friendly folk who are happy to share their "little piece of heaven on earth" with visitors. Family values and common sense prevail in this Southern Bible Belt area. Locals usually have a decent sense of humor - think along the lines of the old TV show "Beverly Hillbillies"!
