We had the opportunity to stay in Palau for four days. We traveled with a group of 39 - through an educational trip in conjunction with the Marine Corps. Our first day was spent traveling from Okinawa, Japan and checking into the fabulous Landmark Marina Hotel. The second day we took an all day snorkeling trip to six of Palau's best underwater locations. The third day we took boats down to the island of Pelilu for a comprehensive WWII battle sites tour. The fourth day we, sadly, traveled home. This was a trip of a lifetime!! Palau has so much to offer: water sports, hiking, boating, shopping to name a few.
- Pros:Diverse outdoor activites (snorkel, scuba diving, boating, kayaking, parasailing, etc), Hiking, Historical significant sitesm, Breath taking island/tropical surroundings
- Cons:Lower priced hotel are "if-y"
- In a nutshell:The untapped beauty of this island paradise makes this a once in a lifetime destination!!
