Sirmione has fantastic location on a tight peninsula on the southern part of Garda lake. It has a long history, which reflects on a magnificant fortress dominating the view. The city has unique atmosphere with many renaissance buildings overlooking a harbour which offers numerous water sports as well as having some romantic little restaurants and wine bars. But Sirmione has a problem: it is simply overflown by the tourists. Probably the price for its beauty. |
