"Sunday in Verona" Verona by bostjan37

To visit Verona on sunday was a very good decison. The traffic was rare so we reached Verona from Bardolino, where we originaly stayed in less then half hour ( 30 km ). Since there was practicaly no traffic in Verona we were able to park the car only hundred meters from the main old town gates, not 5 minutes from the famous Arena. Well, there is really much to see in Verona, from Piazza delle erbe, the Roman theater, The cathedral, Piazza del signori, Castelvecchio, Domus mercatorium etc, but most importante: be sure to try original italian icecream - in my opinion the best in the world!

• Cons:Some parts are overcrowded ( Juliets balcony )
