We spent 4 or 5 days in Scotland driving around in our hire car. Being November the weather wasn't very good to us but we expected as much. It didn't slow us down too much though, we still saw plenty of things and even drove over the big bridge to Isle of Skye (scary with huge winds!).

Unfortunately we didn't get to meet up with my friend Heather while we were in Scotland so we'll have to get over there again sometime to meet her... :) There are plenty more places I'd like to go and I would even like to go back to places we went (Glen Coe especially) so I'm sure it will happen one day. :)

The photo above is of Glen Coe - it's AMAZING there...the views are fantastic!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Fantastic scenery for photos!
Cons:Bad weather...very cold and very wet...
In a nutshell:Beautiful!!!

This is a really important tip. You are so right about the umbrellas getting blown inside out. If one doesn't have a car and are waiting for a bus, it really gets nasty without the right gear.

Lovely photos of Glen coe!! And I like the one of Kilchurn as well, I think it must look nicer in autumn! Where is that Aria force waterfall, i love waterfalls so would be cool to visit it!
