Wow...there is so much I want to say about Vanuatu... I really don't know where to start!!!! I already missed the place only hours after leaving...

Vanuatu is a group of 83 islands in the South Pacific...around 2,200 kms north-east of Sydney. The total population is only around 200,000 and many people live in the rural areas on the islands in small villages. Many don't have power, running water or any of those 'luxuries' that we have...

Vanuatu really is paradise and if you ever have the chance to go - MAKE SURE YOU DO!!!! :)

I have put some general tips and photos in here on my Vanuatu pages and some more specific tips and photos for each location under the various areas we visited: Efate, Port Vila, Lelepa Island, Tanna Island, Hideaway Island and Pango. Please check them all out if you have time. :) Most of the photos/tips on the location pages are not the same as on this main page.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Gorgeous!!!! Fantastic people, beautiful landscapes...
Cons:The vaccinations we needed to get before going...hehe!
In a nutshell:Definitely a must see for everyone!!!!!

I hate to say it but this great Vanuatu icon of the Waterfront restaurant was recently burnt down and is now slowly being rebuild. Sadly the huge collection of international flags it was famous for have all gone

Thanks! i have been wondering about malaria tablets, do they make you really sick? i'm leaving on saturday for Port Villa, but I am scared to take them!
