Bergen has a population of about 224,000 and is Norway's second largest city. This beautiful town is surrounded by seven mountains.
We had a couple of days in Bergen and really loved it there! The whole town is so cute and it's wonderful for photos. One of the best things about Bergen is the cute houses, they are painted in all different colours and look so cute in the skinny streets. We really enjoyed walking around the residential areas just checking out the quiter parts of town. We may have gotten a little lost but that didn't worry us in the slightest. I think that's why we saw so many cute streets and houses. :)
We took the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour over from Oslo which was brilliant...a definate must for any first time traveller to Norway! This trip was full of scenery, and the different modes of transport added a bit of fun to the day. Although, don't leave your run too late, you might find the train line is being repaired and trains are cancelled without any warning (we did!). Luckily it started to rain as we left so we didn't feel so bad...
