Getting TO/AROUND: We took a train to Rome from Pisa using our Eurail ticket. The trip took about three hours and the train was fairly decent... When we left Rome we went to Bern on an over night train using our Eurail ticket again...that trip took about 12 hours. We were too late to book a couchette so we had to sleep on seats all night...a little uncomfortable but we survived...

'Mode': AROUND
Category: Train
Getting TO/AROUND: Most of the time we walked around Rome but we also used the public transport...it was very easy to use and fairly cheap. We also did a day trip via train to Pompei. The trip took around 2.5 hours to get to Naples then an extra 30 minutes or so to get to Pompei.
