We stayed at the Pharaohs Hotel three seperate times during our time in Egypt. The first time we stayed on the top floor in a room that didn't look like it had been cleaned...we also had brown water coming out of the taps... The second time we stayed there the room was clean and basic... The third time we had a nicer room with a balcony looking over the Nile and a double/queen bed. :) We were in a good area though, fairly quiet at night and walking distance to shops, the Nile etc.
