Hideaway Island (Mele)

by CandS - last update: May 14, 2004

Hideaway Island
Hideaway Island (or Mele Island as it is traditionally known) is a VERY small island off Efate just out of Port Vila.

The island is a resort island with some great snorkelling and diving areas.

There is a free ferry across to the island but you will have to pay the 500 vatu entry fee once you arrive. Then you can spend the whole day on the island if you want to.
