We actually stayed in Tewantin with family but we spent a bit of time in Noosa also. It was very busy when we were there but I'm told it is like that all year round...
Noosa is in Queensland and is about an hours drive north of Brisbane...depending on the traffic. Try not to drive at 'peak hour' (as people drive to and from work) when the roads are very busy...it will make the trip a lot slower... ;) We found out the hard way...

I love the strange trees that we came across while on our walk...they look so funny! The photo doesn't show this tree... more travel advice

We spent a bit of time looking amongst the rocks for shells etc but we didn't find much along the edge of the National... more travel advice

Glad the seaweed isn't there all the time.
Noosa is brilliant, spent a month here and loved every minute. Such a diverse country is Aus, fantastic.

I did not spend enough time in Noosa. I thought that from what I saw that it was quite beautiful.
Haven't been to Noosa for yonks, but shudder to think what Hastings St is like now. At least they can't change the beautiful National Park!
Noosa is one of my favorite places in the world, especially Alexandria Bay. Good job! I miss it.
So-so beautiful photos. It must have been an amazing trip and you are so lucky to live in a beautiful country like that is Australia!! I will be there one day:)
