Hotel Ibis is a fairly cheap (in city terms) hotel right in the centre of Perth. It's an easy walk to the shopping malls, food courts, Northbridge where a heap of restaurants are or the free CAT buses.
Unique Qualities: They have heaps of rooms and all have the usual basics like hairdrier, TV, air-conditioning/heating, iron etc. They also have a 24 hour reception, restaurant, currency exchange, internet service, laundry etc.

This place was pretty much crap... I have never stayed in a place anything like it...even the dodgy places all over Europe that we stayed were not as bad as this place. We stayed there because it was close to my sisters home but I wouldn't stay there again. ;) The people running the place were nice enough but the rooms were pretty bad...broken furniture, broken lights, no curtains, non-matching linen etc...not at all what you'd expect for a motel... For $5 extra I'd stay in the Ibis again any day...

We stayed in a town house close to the centre of Perth...it sleeps 9 people (in 6 bedrooms) has 2 bathrooms, is fully furnished, very modern & clean and is in a nice location.
