We visited Perth for the first time in August 2004... My sister lives over there and my parents also flew over so we could have a family get together down in the Margaret River area...

We only spent three nights in Perth which meant only a full day to look around. We saw a fair bit of the central business district but not much else.

We visited Perth again in November 2006 for my sisters wedding...but because we had a newborn baby we didn't get to see or do much on that visit.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Big country town feel about it...
Cons:REALLY far from anywhere...

Hi Sheri, Hope you enjoyed Perth, come again. I visited Wagga often as a child, had an aunty in town , it was in the flood area before the levy banks were built.

Kings Park is beautiful & with some lovely views back across the Swan river as well. We just missed seeing Elle there shooting a commercial when we were there in '98.
