Getting TO/AROUND: Well, I guess from Europe, Asia, America etc you would have to take a plane (or boat?!) ;) There are plenty of flights coming from all over the world and from other Aussie cities.

But for us it is easiest to drive...Sydney is about 2 hours from Canberra, 5 hours from Wagga or about 8 hours from Melbourne by car...

Getting TO/AROUND: There's most types of transport...the buses are good and so are the trains - although leave yourself plenty of time to get places as it seems to take longer than you might think.

You can also get the monorail in the centre of Sydney. It's easy enough to walk around most of the places since everything is fairly close together.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Sydney Ferries are quick and easy to use. I recommend that you go on a ferry while in Sydney to see more of the harbour... I've been across to the Taronga Zoo on one trip (great views of the harbour!) and across to Manly on another trip. The weather was quite bad on the trip to Manly and the ferry ride was quite rough, but even for someone who gets motion sickness like myself, I managed to survive. ;)
