The Taronga Zoo is fantastic! :) I totally recommend the ferry trip across the harbour to get to the zoo... When we visited in March 2004 there were baby tiger cubs and a lion cub...very cute!!! :) Entry is around $25 for an adult but you can get discount cards out of most Sydney informationn brochures so check them out before you go along.

Take a ride on the monorail if you can. It is a good trip around the nicest parts of Sydney above the road level...you can see Darling Harbour and lots of other interesting places. It stops at a few locations along the way so you can get off if you see something interesting... I really enjoyed it.

Visit the Sydney Aquarium for sure! It is full of all sorts of beautiful fish and has some wonderful displays. I have only been there once but I would go again for sure. I have heard that this is the best aquarium in the southern hemisphere and I believe it. The aquarium is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm.

Luna Park: Australia's Wonderland

Visit Australia's Wonderland. It's a great theme park with lots of fun rides. The rides include kids rides, rollercoasters, water rides etc... There is also an animal park attached with lots of Australian animals. Australia's Wonderland isn't far out from the centre of Sydney...you will easily find a bus or train to get out there... NOTE: I heard in March 2004 that Wonderland may be closing down but I am not 100% sure yet.

Go for a walk without any particular intentions and you might just come across some cute streets like this one... :) I enjoy walking around Sydney and finding all sorts of interesting places...

Almost every visitor to Sydney will get to see the Sydney Opera House at least once...it is almost impossible to miss if you are in the CBD area... ;) You should have a close look at the Sydney Opera House...it looks very different up close...

Another 'tourist attraction' that almost every visitor to Sydney will see...usually without even trying... This view is taken from Milsons Point... You can also climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge these days. I haven't done it as yet but I would like to give it a go one of these days... Check out www.bridgeclimb.com for more information.

If you get the time go for a walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge...you will get some nice views of Sydney... It's free to walk along. You can also see the "Bridge Climbers" up above if you look up for long enough. :) Details below...
