We visited Thredbo over the New Years Eve period in 2004/2005... It was a great trip, even though it was only for 3 nights...

There is so much to see and do in Thredbo...even in the summer... ;) Thredbo is best known as a ski resort village in the Kosciuszko National Park but it is also worth visiting in the summer for sure...

Thredbo is usually covered in snow during winter and we did see a little bit of snow in the mountains still but not much. If you want to see Australia with snow then visit my Falls Creek page. :)

Pros and Cons

Pros:Compact and easy to get around...
Cons:Expensive...bring as much from home as possible...
In a nutshell:Beautiful!

Brings back fon memories!! Yeah too bad I couldn't make it to the top because of the wind. Ah well maybe next time!! ;-) When we got back down after this failure we did go in to the bobsled ride, wihich was really cool stuff!!!
