I grew up in Tulsa and ran screaming away as soon as I graduated from high school. Eight years later, after living in New York and Tokyo, I did the unthinkable: I moved back. For good. My second experience here is far better than the first. Tulsa is a far more cosmopolitan city now than when I left it. Although this is a small, relaxed place, it has many of the attractions of a big city -- fabulous architecture downtown, a variety of different cuisines, independent coffee shops to relax in and an increasingly diverse population. This webpage will document my attempts to explore the city I once vowed never to return to. I hope you'll enjoy traveling with me.
